Led the implementation of the National ID project. This includes data entry of more than 95 million Egyptians born since year 1900. This requires massive effort in data collection, verification from old catalogues, validation, quality management and data entry using more than 3000 workstations. Data entry includes birth, death, marriage and divorce data each from a different paper based then original form. An ID number and card was designed for every Egyptian, in addition to a fully computerized nation wide information system for civil registration. A factory for high-level security card was also built and high level data security centers were established. A plan for the development of sectoral applications to government, business and civil society were developed. Also a comprehensive professional development program was institutionalized.
