Led the vision, planning and implementation of a program and projects that developed Egypt first Geographic Information System (GIS) at the national level. The projects include: Egypt first digital base map, the first administrative and zoning map, and digitization of maps for governorates, cities and villages. This effort includes the use geometric correction models and tools for all maps. The national GIS included several layers such as agriculture map, industrial map, natural resources and minerals map and geological map. It has, as well, an investment map, a tourism sector map and an urban development map and environment map and a manpower map including graduates, an employment and unemployment map. In addition, a population, health and education maps were further developed and linked to Egypt ID project. One major outcome also was Egypt first map for poverty and another was "EGYPT Description in the Digital Age".
