Dr. ElSherif led various efforts to foster the development of children through the use of Information Technology through the Kids and Youth Program that was launched in 1995 as a subsidiary of RITSEC. Throughout its inception, the program emerged and transformed into a network of projects and initiatives that focused on the mobilization of empowerment in the Arab region. The Program mandated an integration of technology for the creation of practical models of educational excellence, pilot projects, professional development and enhancement programs designed to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and global enrichment. The program has developed comprehensive strategies that support cross cultural projects and programs and have received both national and international recognition.
